Hypnosis to Become a Confident Flyer and Banish a Fear of Flying
Board a flight and feel genuinely settled in your seat, not gripping the armrest until it is over.
Maybe you have turned down a trip because the flight itself felt like the whole obstacle. The tight jaw before boarding, the stomach that drops before the plane leaves the ground. The way you keep checking how much longer is left.
You are guided to picture two escalators side by side, one rising as the other descends, a simple image for how a feeling can shift from tight to loose without you forcing it. From there the session moves you through the airport and onto the plane, where your attention settles on a book or a film rather than on the engines or the turbulence. Anxiety needs attention to keep going, so the session helps you build the habit of giving yours elsewhere.
It runs about twenty six minutes, and many people find it useful to return to in the days before a flight, or even at the gate.
